Dear Class,You did well. As general feedback, I encourage you to think about what counts good writing in terms of the format and content. We will analyze 천보경's proposal from the perspective what makes hers stronger on next Monday. Think of how to make your writing reader-friendly. I believe that simple and explicit sentences make your ideas clear. I ask 천보경 (English), 김옥순 (Trade), Xie Yongjia (Business), 정소라 (Agricultural Economics), 안성진 (English), and 유승연 (Business) to post your proposal assignments using the comment/덧글 function for sharing. I encourage you to compare and contrast their writing and think of what makes their writing stronger, although all of you received above point 4. I will return your assignment on Monday.With all the build-up assignments, we will be closer to the promised land in terms of academic reading, writing, and speaking skills. This class will boost your competence and confidence. Please check this blog and class email account at least one time a week to keep up with our class sessions. Research proposal I want to write about Entrepreneurship originally. But more young people try to create a business because of economic depression now. So I think narrow it to Youth Entrepreneurship is better. There are some characteristics of the most of Young Entrepreneur. No money, no experience, no technology but enthusiasm. So many people can’t be succeed because they maybe don’t know why they go to create a business or what shall they prepare. For example people need to know is this time is the right time to do firstly. I will discuss about the entrepreneurial environment, opportunity and the elements of the preparation for Entrepreneurship. I will find the information of economic environment nowadays and find some examples of successful Young Entrepreneur. Then I will discuss why they have been success and show you the common ground from those examples. Research proposal The topic I chose is " Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen ". I want to do my research not only for the work in this class but also for my graduation thesis, so I decided to bring the idea of topic from what I wrote before. However, I thought , that was not enough to be the research paper and my graduation thesis 'cause it is all about just general explanation on the work such as summarizing the story and introducing the characters, so I will develop it. I will talk about four types of marriages happening on the story and what each different kind of marriages mean. Also I will discuss what is the perfect marriage the writer think of and then what suggestive messages this work gives to us living today. 200614229천보경 (English)

Right after I turn on my laptop, the first thing I do is signing in to Cyworld. Just like me, a lot of Korean do Cyworld very much. By thinking of this, I wanted to know what makes this social networking space so popular. Therefore I decided to do my research about what the chief elements of Cyworld's success are. To begin with, I will have to show you that how big Cyworld's market share is. After that, I will approach my question from marketing and social point of views to get the answers. And based on the key factors of success which I will find, some secondary data and my own insights, I will explain how Cyworld's success have influence on Korean's society and social relationship trend. That part will be the answer of my second research question.

Research proposal Topic : homeschoolingResearch Question :Why is the number of parents who teach their childeren at home increasing?At first I will write about homeschooling, but the topic is so wide that I think it is need to narrow down, so I changed my mind to focus on the reasons why the number of parents teaching their children at home increasing. I will try to find out a data about the increasing percentage of homeschooling families to show you this change is taking palce actually. Of course, I will explain what homeschooling is at the beginning. I will write about advantages of homeschooling and why some parents don't send their children to school and teach at home. Then I will be able to explain the reasons what I said above.

research proposal (무역학과 김옥순)As I drink a cup of coffee one day, I thought of writing about "brand coffee." At first, I was about to write the kinds of coffe brands or some historied about coffee brands, but these topics are not good. They don't fit with "research topic." Therefore I have an idea of writing about why people consume brand coffee. However, this topic is too broad, I need to narrow it down. Then I was reminded that seldom can I find older people at coffee shop. So, I come up with an idea of writing about why younsters have more tendancy to consume brand coffee than older people. I will shortly introduce some popular coffee brands and compare the rate of purchase in each age. Then I will search for the reasons of why youngsters tend to drink brand coffee while older people don't have that kind of tendancy.
